New Programmable Logger Ideal for Monitoring Temperatures of Vaccines Inside Refrigerators or Freezers
DeltaTrak®,a leading innovator of cold chain management solutions today introduced the FlashLink USB Data Logger with Glycol Bottle, a reusable data logger with a large, easy-to-read LCD display designed to monitor the temperature of vaccines stored in refrigerators and freezers. The logger is calibrated and comes with a Certification traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
“Improper storage and handling of vaccines result in the loss of millions of dollars each year,” said Frederick Wu, president and CEO of DeltaTrak. “The FlashLink USB logger is an ideal solution for monitoring vaccines stored in refrigerators and freezers and can help improve quality and reduce product loss. It is easy to use and meets the requirements and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).”
The FlashLink Reusable USB logger provides a detachable external temperature sensor in a sealed 5mL glycol bottle for a more accurate reading of liquid temperatures. The logger can be customized for different logging intervals, high and low alarms and it displays the remaining battery power on the LCD. Temperature data is easily downloaded from the logger using the USB connection and DeltaTrak’s FlashLink Program Manager software. The logger is compact and easy to use and is compatible with FDA, CDC and WHO guidelines.
