DeltaTrak, a global provider of cold chain monitoring and food safety technologies, today announced the launch of UBQ International Membership, expanding the program beyond the United States. All UBQ accounts receive a free Basic Membership.
UBQ Membership is the subscription model for accessing UBQ Network, DeltaTrak’s cold chain logistics platform. The platform brings shipment conditions, location, delays, estimated remaining shelf life and partner services together in one environment for businesses handling temperature-sensitive products, including produce, meat, dairy and seafood.
“Cold-chain customers already generate enormous amounts of shipment data, but the real value comes from turning that data into better decisions,” said Karl McDermott, chief SaaS revenue officer at DeltaTrak. “Every UBQ customer starts with a free Basic Membership. As their needs grow, membership gives them a simple way to add the services and intelligence they need to reduce waste, protect freshness and lower logistics risk.”
UBQ Network applications include:
- UBQ Trip Segmentation: Identifies where temperature excursions and delays occurred, helping determine root causes and responsibility.
- UBQ Shipper Dashboard: Helps customers manage temperature and shipment performance by origin, lane, carrier and destination.
- UBQ Maritime Tracking: Provides visibility into ocean shipments across more than 150 carriers.
- UBQ Carbon Compliance: Produces shipment-level emissions information to support EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive reporting, Scope 3 requests and customer sustainability programs.
- UBQ Freshness Index™: Uses temperature and transit data to estimate remaining shelf life and product deterioration, helping businesses prioritize inventory, protect sell-through and reduce waste.
From Cold Chain Logistics to Decision Intelligence
UBQ Membership helps customers move from monitoring what happened to deciding what to do next.
For customers requiring deeper analytics, UBQ Decision Intelligence turns cold chain logistics data into business insights. Its first module, UBQ Maritime Intelligence, compares route, carrier, vessel and port performance to help customers make more informed logistics decisions.
One Membership Program. An Expanding Ecosystem of Services.
Membership benefits increase across the Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers. Depending on their tier, customers can access additional Decision Intelligence capabilities, dedicated customer success support and partner services spanning quality inspections, traceability, cargo insurance, claims management, invoice financing and marketplace services.
