DeltaTrak offers Product Emulation based on an algorithm in the ColdTrak Data Central cloud, which derives internal product temperature from the ambient air temperature data uploaded to ColdTrak. No manual methods, probes, or other invasive procedures that can damage the packaging or commodity itself are required. DeltaTrak uses customized algorithms determined from conditions on specific facilities or delivery routes. The effectiveness of this algorithm-based approach has been independently verified by the University of South Florida.
In graphical analysis, product emulation has been shown to be much more accurate at approximating the actual internal temperature of products. In many instances, the data lines from product temperature emulation and actual measured temperature are virtually indistinguishable.
