Remotely Monitor Cold Storage with DeltaTrak’s New FlashLink Certified Vaccine Wi-Fi Data Logger

Maintaining the right storage conditions for vaccines and other temperature-sensitive medical supplies is critical in hospitals, pharmacies, and labs. Even a slight temperature fluctuation can compromise their effectiveness. To make monitoring easier and more reliable, DeltaTrak has introduced the FlashLink Certified Vaccine Wi-Fi Data Logger, a real-time remote monitoring solution that simplifies temperature tracking and ensures compliance.
This new data logger uses Wi-Fi to automatically upload temperature readings to the UBQ Facility Monitoring Web Service, allowing a single staff member to oversee multiple storage units from a centralized cloud platform. If temperatures move out of range, the system instantly sends alerts via email or text message, so personnel can take immediate action to prevent loss of efficacy.
Designed with dual-sensor support, one device can monitor both refrigerator and freezer compartments, making it an ideal choice for facilities storing vaccines, medications, and other perishable medical supplies. It includes an external sensor with a glycol buffer, which mimics the thermal properties of vaccines to prevent false alarms. A second sensor may be optionally purchased. Additionally, audible and visual alarms provide instant on-site alerts and FlashTrak Monitoring Web Service can send notifications to designated personnel. If Wi-Fi is not available, a USB option allows users to download PDF reports directly from the device.
This latest addition to the DeltaTrak line provides an innovative approach to temperature monitoring as a smart, user-friendly solution for healthcare facilities. By reducing manual checks and enabling remote real-time oversight, this device helps ensure that vaccines and other critical supplies are stored safely—protecting both patients and healthcare providers.
